Missions News

Mission Celebration weekend is scheduled for November 9th with an ice cream social at 7:30, the10th with a covered dish at 6:00 PM  and Sunday the 11th with special mission service and lasagna dinner following the 10:15 service. Our focus this year will be on young life and Chinese Overseas Missions.  All week we will have Youth Breakfasts from November 5th - 9th for Middle and High School Students from 6:45 - 7:30.  Rides to school will be provided following.

Please pray for all the missionaries.

We get newsletters where they ask for prayers for the people who just found Jesus, and those people who are struggling with their problems.  Pray for the families as well as the missionaries.  Some have children who are in school.

The Reichman’s ask for prayers for guidance.  For the past 11 years they have been in both seaman's work and the radio.  They need to make a decision if they want to go with the Seaman's mission instead of the radio.  They will still be with SEND, but are looking at this field instead of both.

News from Todd & Debby Carter SEND missionaries from Alaska.  Todd will begin a new career in June.  He will become a “Spiritual Care Missionary.”  It will be pastoral care, encouragement and companionship to all the missionaries in Alaska and the Yukon Territory.

As you can see the above missionaries need our prayers.  All of our missionaries have needs.  Sometimes their news reaches us when we can’t get it to you.  So keep praying.

Involvement of our Congregation:
